PMD request to refrain from public display of president’s image

President Media Division today requested all relevant parties not to display President Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s photos or portraits in public places.

According to the statement, the PMD said that President’s portraits and photographs are displayed on the sides of the road and locations of ceremonies without proper supervision.

While President Rajapaksa expressing his gratitude to the people who create his portraits state that it is appropriate to avoid such actions. He further says that he does not appreciate the promotion of personal image.
